I cured each coat of Gelish (base coat, three colored coats [Midnight caller needs three very thin coats]) for 2 minutes, and then the final top coat for 3 minutes. There is more than enough room to cure one hand at a time (thumb included), so a manicure takes 20 minutes tops. And for a completely worry-free manicure after it's cured that lasts for 2 weeks, that's worth 20 minutes.Don't bother buying a more expensive lamp just to cure your gel polish manicure. I received this lamp in a damaged box. The lamp was wrapped in bubble wrap with all the bubbles already popped and the bulb inside was loose (not plugged in) and broken. I just had to order replacement bulbs and I haven't used it once. It looks like a very nice unit and hopefully once I can plug it in and use it, it will be fine.
