I had no professional gel brushes so I cut down the brush from an empty bottle of polish (cleaned of course) to about 1/4". This worked well and allowed me to protect her soft, damaged nails while adding some strength without a lot of thickness. I applied it VERY THIN - I repeat very very thin and stroked it along the length of the nail until it was smooth. The texture of this gel enhancement is very smooth, yet dense. It worked great and the thin coat applied after the foundation/base, and before the color, cured under the UV lamp to a very shiny clear coat. This will not give you the strength of acrylics or gel nails but will give you more than your natural nails alone. Apply this very thin after your Foundation application. You can use this under Shellac also, after the base coat. We use LED lights and cure for 30 seconds but if you're using UV then cure for 2 minutes. Do not wipe nails in between any of the layers, only at the end. And yes it's true, your polish is 100% dry when finished. Love this stuff! |
