(Misc.) I have started a small collection of gel polishes because it is MUCH more affordable to do this at home than going to a salon. I bought Hollywood for a spicy color when I wasn't in the mood for something understated. I love it. It's a perfect red, not orangy, and it has teeny subtle sparkles. The color itself is not subtle. It's 'Wow, that's the prettiest red polish ever!' My coworkers have loved it and even asked me to do their nails on lunch break (which I have).Besides being a splash of color for my nails, I found that you can also layer it under other color for great effects. You can even layer under different brands. I started out using CND gel polish but also have purchased Gelish brand polishes. It looks especially nice layered with Gelish 'June Bride.' I'm not a nail technician and I feel this is something anyone can do.
