(Misc.) I just recently starting using soak off gel polishes at home and Shellac is my favorite brand because of ease of use. The color range is improving, so that's a plus. I'm so excited they are starting to expand their range of nudes and basic colors. This is the perfect American manicure color (a more natural version of the French.) I don't care for harsh white tips, so I was elated when I got this in the mail and it went on a beautiful off-white, which could have been perfect with just one coat. Opaque enough to not streak, but I still applied two coats. It is gorgeous! Instead trying to be perfect with my tips, I did a basic attempt, but then cleaned up the way I wanted them to look by using a brush dipped in acetone to shape the edge. It was sooo much easier doing it that way!The 'soft white' is PERFECT. it is milky & natural looking, not stark and fake. I don't think you'd be disappointed. I know I sure wasn't and I've gotten several compliments on my nails.
