I bought this along with negligee, top coat and base coat and my nails were gorgeous after just one coat of all. I did a double coat of cream puff and the negligee and found it was better to just do one coat of all. I applied it in the following order: 1.base coat 2.cream puff 3.negligee 4.top coat. I cured it in between each coat and only used alcohol after the base coat and after the top coat. I also did a friends nails and it looked very professional and shiny. I also did my toes about a month ago and had no chipping yet. I had to send the dryer back because I had a problem with it so I'm waiting to redo my toes and they're holding out really good. My hands only lasted a week but that's because I was cleaning and it chipped. But it's better than paying 50 dollars every two weeks!! The shellac products in general are not for impatient people, they get "gloppy" fast. I have been doing my own french manicures beautifully for many years and found that by the time I put the cream puff shellac on the tips,even though it would look perfect, as soon as I cured it in my machine it would bubble up and look poorly. I am able to do regular shellac nails with some success (not as nice as when I get them done in the shop but they still last 2 weeks so I'm happy), but I would love to get my money back for the cream puff cause french tips are not working! I know how to do nails, but am not real great with Amazon.com, so don't know how to get $ back for a product without it costing me :( Good luck all |
