The quality is very high and the pearl white tone is a nice touch. It's really convenient and works as you would imagine it to. It's even perfect for pedicures. I've tried it on Gelish and OPI's new GelColor and it cures both of them flawlessly. I would highly recommend it for all you girls who want to do led gel manicures at home, but can't afford a professional or higher-end light. I bought my mini nova led lamp about 1.5 months ago. So far I've done about a dozen manicures using Gelish.. boht on myself and family and friends. At first it worked like a dream.. cured fast with high shine. About 3 weeks in, i decided to use a red from the Gelish line, it did not cure at all! It left the each coat smeared and not cured, even with extended time under the machine, the polish did not cure, I was uable to apply a second coat as it would rub off the first coat and make it uneven. After the entire process (base, polish, top coat) I sprayed on 99% alcohol and wiped with a cloth and the polish came right off! I tried again with a dark purple polish, letting the polish cure for a full 60 seconds between each coat as I know darker colors require more time. Again, during each coat I left my hand under the light for longer than 60 seconds, but the polish did not cure. When I applied the alcohol during the final step, the polish came right off. I originally purchased a UV lamp but returned it because I was concerned about the UV rays and I could smell my skin cooking while using it (the same smell as when you're in a tanning bed).This lamp is okay and eventually got the job done but the process was painfully slow. The lamp is pretty small and while I can fit my thumbs in at the same time as my fingers, the lamp is very shallow and I can't spread out all of my fingers so that my thumb is flat. It needs to be pinched in next to my index finger so that only one half of my nail is getting exposed to the light. My thumb wasn't curing when trying to do the whole hand so I had to do them separately. Even with a very thin application of polish with each coat (and I mean thin), I needed to cure around 5 minutes per coat which made the whole process way too long.
